Hey friends - we're heading to Nashville early April to record the new CD entitled "Rearview Mirror". We can't wait to share the new songs with everyone. Some of the greatest musicians working in Folk/Americana music today are booked for the sessions. If you're in LA, join us on Thursday, June 5th at Genghis Cohen's for the official launch party set.

Hey friends, we're thrilled to finally have both SUMMERSTOWN and select tracks ~ the radio hits ~ from BEGINNINGS available for digital download via SNOCAP. This is the first time anywhere that Phil's Canadian radio hits "Anytime Now", "I Can't Hold On" and "Hurricane" have been available for download.

I was very fortunate to attend a master class in songwriting this past spring at UCLA with legendary lyricist Marty Panzer. Marty is responsible for writing some of Barry Manilow's greatest hits, such as "This One's For You", "Even Now", and "It's A Miracle", as well as Kenny Roger's "Through the Years". The opportunity to study with such a legendary song craftsman was unforgettable, and even Barry himself worked with us at one of sessions. I'm delighted to be one of this year's scholarship winners and to further explore and develop my craft as a songwriter. Check out our "photos" link for a picture of both Barry Manilow and Marty Panzer at one of the recent classes. The photo was taken during the same week that Barry's latest album "Greatest Songs From the Fifties" went Number One on the Billboard Charts.

We're thrilled to announce that the song "Mother's Day" won an Honorable Mention in the 13th Billboard Music World Song Contest.
